Privacy

What we collect

• Your email (to sign you in), the name you choose, and an optional photo.
• The commitments you write, whether you completed them each day, and nudges you send or receive.
• Your phone's time zone and a push-notification token so the app can reach you at the right hours.
• Crash reports (via Sentry) so we can fix bugs. No commitment titles are included.

Who sees what

• Only members of your squad (3 to 6 people you chose) see your name, your daily score, and the titles of your commitments.
• A commitment marked private shows to your squad only as “Private commitment” with done / not done. The title is replaced in our database before it is ever sent, not hidden on screen.
• Your answer to “What happened?” after a lost day is never shown to anyone. Only “I need someone” sends your squad a message, and it says exactly that.
• Nobody outside your squad sees anything. There are no public profiles, feeds, or leaderboards.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your data with advertisers. There are no ads.
• We don't read your messages on other apps or monitor your device.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (US East). Email is sent through Resend. Push notifications go through Expo and Apple/Google's services. Crash reports go to Sentry.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account. It removes you from your squad and erases your commitments, days, and nudges immediately. Or email hello@getcontend.app.
